Cathy Kangas is the founder of PRAI Beauty, a cruelty-free skincare company that donates a portion of each purchase to animal rescue efforts. She served on the Humane World for Animals Board of Directors for 15 years.
A passionate animal welfare advocate, Kangas also founded the Cathy Kangas Foundation for Animals. Through its Free the Shelters campaign, the foundation sponsors free adoptions for shelter animals. Kangas is proud to have received the Humane World for Animals Compassion in Action award in 2012 for her dedication to animal protection.
Kangas lives in New Canaan, Connecticut, with her husband, Ed, and their five rescue dogs.
