Chair, Humane World Action Fund; CEO, DIY Media, a Seattle-based technology company.  David has been involved in animal welfare issues for more than 20 years, including ten years as a director and Chairman of the North Carolina Zoological Society.  There, he helped direct a number of major animal welfare and conservation initiatives.  He led the formation a Conservation Committee that directs resources to efforts in North Carolina, the U.S. and Africa.  David also served the Board of Carnivore Preservation Trust, a sanctuary for exotic rescues for 12 years.  He has lobbied extensively in Raleigh and in D.C. for animal welfare issues.
