WASHINGTON (May 27, 2026)—Humane World Action Fund, formerly called Humane Society Legislation Fund, announced the endorsement of Alex Bores for Congress in New York’s 12th Congressional District. As the nation’s leading political animal advocacy organization, Humane World Action Fund endorses candidates based on their demonstrated commitment to animal protection, evaluating each candidate only on their record and positions on animal welfare issues.
“Alex Bores demonstrates what it means to be a leader on animal protection in the New York State Assembly, and the New York City residents of the 12th Congressional District who care about the wellbeing of animals will be well served by him in Congress,” said Brad Pyle, political director of Humane World Action Fund. “Animals deserve strong champions, and Assemblyman Bores has shown that he will bring a practical and humane approach to these issues to the national stage. We urge voters in New York’s 12th
