For over 20 years, we've been the nation’s leading animal protection political organization. You’ve known us as Humane Society Legislative Fund, but to maximize our impact and help even more animals in need, we are changing our name to Humane World Action Fund
Similarly, our affiliates, the Humane Society of the United States and Humane Society International are uniting their efforts under one new name that better reflects their bold work and increasingly global mission and reach: Humane World for Animals.
New name, same focus
While our look and name are evolving, our mission and values remain the same. You can count on us to continue:

It includes species from land, sea and sky, showcasing the breadth of our mission to protect all animals. The logo represents forward progress, building on the legacy of our previous logos while evolving thoughtfully to reflect our bold mission for a kinder, more humane world.
Our new navy color embodies strength and trust, while coral adds passion and urgency—together, they reflect the bold, compassionate advocacy at the heart of our mission to protect animals through policy and political change.
