Michiganders showed up to the polls in droves on an unusually warm, sunny fall day. HSLF volunteers leafleted and talked with voters at the polls about Joe Knollenberg's lies over his record on animal cruelty and the need for a more humane 111th Congress. It's clear that voters are engaged and energized, regardless of party affiliation.

Not a single voter we've met in the 9th District missed seeing our compelling TV ads. The images were powerful and Joe Knollenberg's record is shameful in a district of suburban animal lovers. The ads permeated every corner of the district.
